The advisor we built won an award
The AI Advisor I built for Career Karma just won the 2026 EdTech Breakthrough Award for Social Recruitment Solution of the Year. I am celebrating today.
Career Karma has guided 500,000+ career changers since 2018, across 300+ partner programs. For years, the front door was a form: name, email, phone, wait for a call.
With my AI teammates at Relevant Co-Intelligence Studio, we rebuilt that front door into a conversation with an AI Advisor. The first version was live in four weeks. Then we kept building, and it grew into a full system:
- A conversational AI Advisor on Career Karma’s own school and program data. It knows each program’s real pricing, formats, and who the school is actually looking for.
- A qualification pipeline. Every conversation reads intent, budget, timeline, and fit, while it talks like a person.
- Multi-school dispatch. Each career changer is matched to the right schools, and each school receives the full story behind the lead, with an AI-written brief their admissions team reads before the first call.
- An admin built for the team. AI analyzes every conversation, and you can ask questions about your own funnel in plain language.
- Compliance built in. Education is a regulated space, so the advisor talks labor market reality and never promises outcomes.
- Live on the site, with every conversation measured.
Career Karma spent years building school relationships and program knowledge, buried behind hundreds of pages and database entries. Our build woke that intelligence up.
